Two snatchers nabbed

The staff of PS Madhu Vihar has arrested two men after credible intelligence and surveillance The accused caught from near Tikona Park have been identified as Ankush (25) and Dev Raj alias Nandu (22), both residents of West Vinod Nagar. The arrests came during an investigation into a mobile snatching case reported by a local resident, Kishan Kumar. The police team, led by PSI Varun and supervised by SHO Madu Vihar, Inspector Arun Kumar and ACP Tilak Chand Bisht, intercepted the suspects and recovered a stolen golden Samsung mobile phone from their possession.
“Both accused are habitual offenders and have a criminal background. Their arrest is a result of proactive patrolling and use of technical surveillance,” said DCP (East) Abhishek Dhania.
Further investigation is underway.
