Transgender nabbed for theft
Shahdara Police arrested a transgender in a theft case of ₹50,000. The complainant Mahender Kumar filed an e-FIR at PS Seemapuri and reported that an unknown transgender had stolen ₹50,000 from his office’s drawer.
The team of ASB Cell zeroed in on the case, and checked CCTV footages. During the close observation, police found riding a stolen scooty. As the probe progressed, it was revealed that the accused often visited the area of Seemapuri. Keeping in view the whole episode, Prashant Priya Gautam formed a team inducting
ACP Gurudev Singh to lead with other cops including ASI Raj Kumar, HCs Sachin, Rahul and Sonu, constables Manish and Abhishek and Deepika, a woman head constable. The team laid a trap, and arrested the transgender Yash alias Yashika 22 years and recovered ₹2,500 and a stolen scooty.
