Illicit liquor racket busted 192 quarters seized

Developing a specific lead about selling illegal liquor in Gandhi Nagar, a team led by ACP Gurudev Singh and under the acute guidance of  DCP Shahdara district Prashant P Gautam was formed. The team with SI Ved Prakash, ASI Rajiv, HC Anuj and constable Ankur laid a trap and arrested Priyanshu alias Sumit with a two- wheeler and found 192 quarters of illicit liquor when searched. Priyanshu revealed his involvement in the illegal distribution of liquor. He committed the crime to make quick money. A case against him was registered at PS Gandhi Nagar. Furthermore, the police found him involved in 10 other cases.
