35 bikers booked for pulling a stunt, use of modified silencers
The cops stayed vigilant all throughout the night on the occasion of New Year’s Eve. They ensured a peaceful and safe transition into the New Year for both residents and visitors. Their proactive measures were to maintain law and order and foster a sense of security for the community.
Under the operation Bullet Raja launched by staff of PS Jamia Nagar, 35 bikers were booked for using modified silencers and pulling a stunt.
The district police undertook several targeted measures by standing guard in residential areas, near hotels, malls, night clubs, pubs, bars and bus stands and the places where the footfall is too heavy. The police kept tabs on anti-social elements, miscreants and hooligans.
Special attention was given to ensure smooth traffic flow and deter reckless and drunken driving.
A drive was conducted at key entry and exit points to identify and act against individuals indulging in stunts or driving under the influence. These measures aimed to safeguard public safety and discourage dangerous behaviours.
The staff of PS Jamia Nagar under the supervision of Narpal Singh, SHO Jamia Nagar under the guidance of Ravi Kumar Singh Deputy Commissioner of Police SE district launched ‘Operation Bullet Raja’, an initiative targeting bikers using modified silencers and engaging in reckless honking.
