New Delhi – The Police Families Welfare Society (PFWS) celebrated its 53rd Foundation Day with great enthusiasm at Adarsh Auditorium, Police Headquarters. The event was graced by Chief Guest Ms Sangita Saxena, a noted educationist and social worker, along with PFWS President Ms Ritu Arora and other dignitaries.

The celebration began with a ceremonial lamp lighting, followed by Ms Arora’s welcome address highlighting new initiatives such as ‘Smita’ – a new wing, and training programs for driving, soft skills, and computer literacy.

An audio-visual presentation showcased PFWS’s longstanding commitment to welfare schemes for Delhi Police families. The 9th edition of the annual magazine ‘Koshish Ek Asha’ and its digital version were also unveiled.

Awards were given to top Welfare Centres, with New Police Lines winning Best Centre. The day concluded with an inspiring spiritual session on stress management by renowned life coach Gaur Gopal Das, which was streamed live across PFWS platforms.

The event underscored the society’s ongoing mission to uplift and empower police families through unity, innovation, and compassion.
