Two snatchers apprehended with stolen bikes,phones

In a major breakthrough, the police arrested two notorious snatchers and recovered six stolen mobile phones with a stolen motorcycle used in commission of crimes.
The accused, identified as Alok Singh (27) and Arjun (22), both residents of Mandawali, were caught red-handed by a police patrol team on Nagraj Marg. The duo attempted to flee but were swiftly overpowered. A search led to the recovery of three stolen mobile phones from each suspect, all linked to theft cases in Preet Vihar, New Ashok Nagar, and Madhu Vihar. Further investigation led to the seizure of a stolen Hero Splendor motorcycle from Mandawali.
DCP East Abhishek Dhania praised the efforts of the police team, stating, “Our officers remain vigilant against street crimes, and this arrest is a testament to our commitment to keeping Delhi safe. We urge citizens to report suspicious activities promptly.”
Both accused have a criminal history, with prior cases registered against them, an investigation is underway.
