Hundreds of residents benefitted at free health camp

In today's fast-paced and stressful lifestyle, taking care of health has become more crucial than ever before. With the aim of spreading awareness about healthcare, a free health check-up camp was organized under the joint aegis of Felix Hospital and Centre for Sight at A-41, Priyadarshini Vihar in East Delhi. Hundreds of residents from the adjoining areas participated in the camp and availed themselves of various healthcare services by the team of experienced medicos.

The four-hour- long camp that ran from 10 in the morning  to 2 at noon registered essential health check-ups comprising blood pressure, sugar level, ECG, BMD, and blood group tests all free of charge.

 In addition, patients received medical consultation and treatment from general physicians, ophthalmologists, and orthopedic specialists. Among the doctors who extended their services were Dr. Tarun and Dr. Shehzad from Felix Hospital, and Dr. Kapil Gupta, Dr. Shubhangi, and Dr. Urvashi Chauhan from Smirk Dental. Astrologer Acharya Manoj Jain also provided acupressure therapy to patients suffering from cervical and joint pain.

The event was graced by several notable guests, including Mohammad Ilyas, Shamim Khan, Mohammad Alam, Advocate Pradeep Mahajan, Senior Journalist Syed Wajid, Dr. Haseebur Rahman, Rajeev Sharma, Surendra Nagpal, Sunil Kumar Tomar, Ashok Gulabani, Sanjay Sinha, Tarandeep Singh, Ehsaan Zaidi, and Mani Kaushik.

A special highlight of the event was a moment of appreciation when Ayaz Perfumes presented gifts to the attending doctors and distinguished guests as a token of respect.

The success of the health camp was made possible by the support of several social and professional organizations including Nirvikalp Foundation, Pandit Automobile Site, Alpha Corporate Advisory and Financial Consultant, Taj Foundation, and Face Media Group. The free distribution of medicines was carried out by Harmony Charitable Health Centre, operated by FACE Islamic Cultural Community Integration (FICCI).

Special contributions to the event's success were made by social activist and senior journalist Jaideep Kapoor, former banker and social motivator Kenath Chandrashekhar Menon, FACE Group Chairman Dr. Mushtaq Ansari, Police Public Dispensary in-charge Dr Karan Singh Mehra, Centre for Sight’s Head Coordinator Gulshan Kumar, along with Mohammad Yusuf, educationist Preeti Kapoor, Dr. Bilal Ansari, Narendra Singh, Zainab Ansari, Shehnaz Akhtar, and Arshi Khan.
