Tribute to Pahalgam victims

In a poignant display of unity and resilience, the Manav Jagrukta Vikas Samiti organized a candle march and tribute meeting in Delhi to honour the innocent tourists who lost their lives in the recent terrorist attack in Pahalgam. The tragedy, which shook the conscience of the nation, sparked widespread grief and anger, drawing citizens from all walks of life together in solidarity against terrorism.

Hundreds of participants gathered at Nirman Vihar Metro Station, east Delhi proceeding through Vikas Marg to Laxmi Nagar Metro Station, carrying candles and raising slogans of "Bharat Mata Ki Jai". The event sent a resounding message of unity and determination to defeat the forces of terror.

Prominent leaders and personalities marched down protesting vehemently the terrorist acts that pose a serious threat to India's secular fabric. Some distinguished participants at the march were Rampur Lok Sabha MP Maulvi Mohibullah Nadvi, Krishna Nagar MLA Dr. Anil Goyal, Acharya Vikramaditya, and Swami Vishwanand. Their presence underscored the collective resolve cutting across religious and social lines.

Addressing the gathering, MP Maulvi Mohibullah Nadvi condemned the attack, describing it as "an assault on the soul of India". He emphasized the need for stringent action against terrorism and warned against falling prey to divisive conspiracies aimed at destabilizing the nation.

MLA Dr. Anil Goyal also strongly condemned the attack, calling it an act of cowardice. "India will never forgive this betrayal, he declared, applauding the participation of people from diverse communities as a testament to India’s spirit of unity and brotherhood.

Acharya Vikramaditya stressed the responsibility of intellectuals to bridge the growing societal divides and work towards building a strong, harmonious India.

The event was led by Dr. Mushtaq Ansari, President of Manav Jagrukta Vikas Samiti, and General Secretary Harish Gola, Advocate. Dr. Parvez Miyan, Haridatt Sharma, Mohmmad Ilyas Saifi, senior journalists Zahid Hussain and Deepak Kapoor, political and business leaders, cultural figures, and social activists, joined the tribute.

Candles were lit in memory of the victims, and a solemn pledge was taken to strengthen the fight against terrorism in any format. Throughout the march, patriotic chants and anti-terror slogans filled the air, reaffirming the nation’s unwavering commitment to peace and unity.
