Seventeen-year-old Hriday Brar delivered a standout performance at the Delhi Horse Show 2025, securing six medals — three gold, one silver, and two bronze — across dressage and jumping events.

Competing in both Young Rider and Open categories, Brar claimed two golds in Young Rider Dressage, a gold and bronze in Young Rider Jumping, a silver in Open Dressage, and a bronze in Open Jumping.

A rider since the age of five, Brar trains at the Chandigarh Horse Riders Society in Mohali under accomplished mentors including Maj. Jitendarjit Singh Ahluwalia, an Olympian and Arjuna Awardee. His success follows a series of national and international accolades, including two National Championship medals and participation in two international events.

“This victory is a proud moment,” Brar said. “I’m thankful for my family’s support and the guidance of my coaches, especially Maj. Ahluwalia.”

Brar’s achievements underscore the rising standard of young Indian talent in equestrian sports.
