Tree dedicated to mothers unveiled on Navratri for environmental purification

New Delhi: Under the aegis of Sarv Chintan Foundation (Regd.), a special tree plantation drive was organized on the auspicious occasion of Chaitra Navratri at Maharaja Agrasen Park, Kashmere Gate, Delhi. The initiative aimed at environmental purification, where hundreds of people planted trees in the name of their mothers.

Foundation patron Suman Gupta emphasized that to curb rising pollution, all 140 crore citizens of the country should not only plant a tree but also nurture it daily like their own children until it matures. He added that such an initiative during the holy Navratri would bring blessings from both their own mothers and the divine mother.

Foundation President Sanjay Verma announced that the campaign would now be conducted monthly, with 101 trees being planted at different locations in Delhi, along with a commitment to their daily watering.

The event saw the presence of several dignitaries, including Sanjay Jain, Vinod Verma, Rakesh Gupta, Rajeev Singh "Raju," Mahesh Gupta, Deepak Jain, Sharad Jain, Gopal Garg, senior journalist Vijay Sharma, Gautam Tiwari, Rajeev Tiwari, Mahesh Sharma, Manav Kashyap, Shivam, Inder Jain, and hundreds of citizens.
