Delhi Police honored for Consecutive Republic Day Parade Victory
Delhi, March 27: The Delhi Police were felicitated for securing the Best Marching Contingent Trophy at the Republic Day Parade 2025, marking their second consecutive victory after winning in 2024. To celebrate the achievement, the Commissioner of Police, Delhi, hosted a grand "Bara Khana" at Utsav Sadan, NPL in honor of the Delhi Police Contingent and Band Contingent.
This success was credited to the leadership of Neeraj Thakur (Spl. CP/DPHCL, then Spl. CP/APD), M.N. Tiwari (Jt. CP/AP), Dr. Rakesh Bansal (Addl. CP), and Krishan Kumar (DCP/4th Bn. DAP). The Delhi Police Contingent, under Main Parade Commander Rishi Kumar, IPS (Addl. DCP/Central), delivered an outstanding performance at the national event.
Senior officers, including Special Commissioners of Police, attended the event. The Commissioner of Police, Delhi, praised the contingent’s dedication and excellence, highlighting their role in upholding the force’s pride.
The celebration, organized under the guidance of Vijay Kumar (Spl. CP/APD), served as a token of appreciation for the officers' relentless efforts in achieving this prestigious honour.
