Students gain insights into cybercrimes

Geeta Bal Bharti School successfully hosted a cyber crime awareness programme on December 6, 2024 for students from class 9th to 11th. 

The event aimed at helping students understand cybercrimes and preventive measures towards it. The programme was hosted by Shweta Tiwari and guided by Principal Shalini Midha.

The event began with Saraswati Vandana, followed by an introduction to cybercrimes. Teachers shared their experiences of cybercrime to help students  understand it. Especially, one of the teachers, Madhu, warned students to avoid calls starting with +92. The major highlight of the session was the address of ACP Virendra Punj, providing brief understanding about cybercrimes, shared helplines 1980 and 1930, email address cyber.crime.in for cybercrime victims. Further, he mentioned the importance of legal studies in school. 

Students equally indulged and understood the matter of cyber frauds and learned precaution towards cyber crimes. The event was attended by notable dignitaries, ACP Virendra (ACP Vigilance, East Delhi), Ravinder Gupta (Mantri, Purvi Vibhag, Hindu Shiksha Samiti) Dinesh Goyal (Nagar Karyavah, Bholanath Nagar). 

The event concluded with the heartfelt message of Principal Shalini Midha expressing gratitude to ACP Virendra.
