Criminal with a bounty of ₹2 lakh on his head nabbed

The Cell has caught a criminal carrying a bounty of ₹2 lakh declared by NIA (National Investigation Agency) on his head. The criminal identified as Kamran Haider alias Zaidi was involved in illegal trafficking of Indian youth across international borders and forcing them to work in a fake call center engaging in cyber frauds.
A team of Special Cell/Southern Range led by Inspectors Pawan Kumar, Satvinder and SI Sumit under the supervision of ACP Ved Parkash, he was arrested from Fatima Apartment, Jasola. He was trying to flee to Thailand and Laos.
Kamran was continuously changing his locations from one state to another after he had absconded. Various teams were stationed in different states including Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh to develop the information about the accused. Manual inputs were developed and after strenuous efforts of technical surveillance put in by the team, the accused Kamran was located in Hyderabad, Telangana. Immediately, he was arrested after a marathon of chase covering 2500 km by the team without any respite He was apprehended and arrested near Nampally Railway Station, Hyderabad, Telangana while he was trying to escape.
