Sharpshooter of Gogi/Ankesh Lakra gang caught

The Crime Branch of Delhi Police has arrested Vishal Lakra, a sharpshooter associated with the Gogi/Ankesh Lakra Gang, preventing a possible gang-related attack. The police recovered two sophisticated pistols and four live cartridges from his possession.
Acting on a tip-off, a team led by Inspector Ajay Sharma apprehended Vishal near Japanese Park, Rohini, on February 25. A case has been registered under the Arms Act, and investigations are underway.
Vishal, 23, is a resident of Mundka and has a criminal history with four previous cases against him. He was reportedly awaiting instructions from gang leaders lodged in jail. The police believe his arrest will disrupt gang activities and help curb rising gang violence in the city.
