Autolifters' gang busted by AATS
14 held with stolen vehicles

AATS busted inter-state auto-lifters gang, arrested 10 persons including four juveniles.
Working on the said case, AATS relentlessly worked to collect essential inputs to nab all the accused, and laid a trap. Acting on a tip-off, a team was formed and led by Inspector Yogesh Vashishtha, ASIs Upendra Kumar, Siddharth, HCs Krishan, Pavit, Sandeep, Deepak, Rohit, Dev Basant and Hemant, W/HC Pooja, constables Mukesh and Monu under the supervision of ACP and set a field at Meet Nagar Flyover. Police noticed 4 individuals on two bikes, enquired about their vehicles' registration and ownership documents, they couldn’t provide it. They were identified as Anuj 20 years and 4 juveniles.
During detailed questioning, they admitted to their involvement in the theft of more than 20 two-wheelers. Further, accused Anuj revealed about his coordinates and stolen two-wheelers.
Police arrested 10 accused including four juveniles, and recovered 16 two-wheelers.
