Killers caught in hours, weapons recovered

No sooner did the message about a murder flash than the teams of the district swung into action and within hours nailed four accused involved in the murder case at Ghazipur. 

The police when rushed to the SOC, found the dead body of a man identified as Deen Dayal alias Pawan 26 years. The body was found riddled with stabbed injuries. 

Ankit, the witness stated that the deceased was murdered by Rahul Thakur, Irfan, Sandeep alias Khokha, Nikhil alias Nikki and other 2 at large. The dead body was sent for post-mortem, and a relevant case was registered at PS Ghazipur. Keeping the gravity of matter, three teams were constituted to nab the accused. These teams were supervised by Additional DCP Vinit Kumar (ED). These teams analysed the CCTV footage procured from the area,and also collected manual inputs. 

Police reached the arrest and apprehended 4 accused identified as Irfan 24 years, Sandeep Kumar 24 years, Rahul Thakur 23 years and Nikhil alias Nikki 25 years. Further, police recovered the weapon used in the offence, and the blood-stained brick used in execution of crime.
