2 affiliates of Bawana gang caught with firearms

Crime Branch arrested two criminals of Neeraj Bawana Gang with illegal weapons. Police recovered three illegal country made weapons and four live cartridges. The criminals caught were identified as Rakesh alias Jatti 48 years and Akhil alias Maya 28 years from the Chanakya Palace area, Uttam Nagar, Delhi. Developing a specific lead, a team led by Inspector Ajay Kumar with SIs Hitesh Bhardwaj, Manish, Ajeet Singh and Rajesh Kumar, HCs Mandeep, Narender Khokhar, Vikas Dabas, Neeraj and Ravinder Kumar and W/HC Kusum and under the close supervision of ACP Vivek Tyagi was constituted.

The police laid a trap and arrested the criminals with pistols and live rounds.
