Social activist Adv. Amit Mishra passes away

SYED WAJID

Death be not proud....

Death, thou shalt die !

Nothing saddens like sadness over the sudden and untimely demise of someone close to you.

Advocate Amit Mishra and activist who worked all his life to build a society died on the morning of 13 November. He was 48 years old, not the age to go. He shared others' sufferings and kept his to himself and didn't open up much.

The President of Saraswati Education Society was a real man of commitment and dedication towards his work. Helping others in need and working for the underprivileged and downtrodden was his ultimate goal and undying passion and he executed his assignment in style.

Large hearted and charity doer was he who never said NO to anyone who came to him for help. He would more often than not conduct events and programmes for children deprived of education, help widows know their rights and the poor earn for themselves to live a better life.

Amit helped the needy with ration and clothes when the pandemic (COVID 19) tore the world apart. In the trying times, he would come out scaling the prohibited boundaries of panic and go to the slum clusters and distribute food, medicines, masks and sanitiser kits to the poor kids and their families.

Many of his friends feel as if they lost their family member and actually he was and earned love and affection.

His place in society through his work will always be cherished and fondly remembered.

He is survived by his wife Shalu, Tejas his son and a small daughter Kanishka.

He was the friend of friends.

He was consigned to the holy flames at Nigam Bodh ghat,Delhi amidst hundreds of moistened eyes.

You will go on in many hearts and here mine sinks, goes out to you...

Dear Amit !
