Delhi running on a short fuse with its name dropping culture is a given. As the day closes for dusk, most Delhiwallahs begin to hit the bottle, guzzle to the extent of losing the ground under their feet and the tongue in the mouth and proudly indulge in a  brawl for kicks, is what the capital city aka crime capital is better defined.

Lately surfaced a case where a man was mercilessly thrashed by two bike borne assailants. Delhi Police, responding to the call, cracked this blind road rage murder case within hours of the incident. Two accused, identified as Pankaj Kumar Sinha (30) and Jeetu (27), were arrested for allegedly attacking and killing a man during a road rage incident on Holi.

The incident occurred on March 14 when Ashish, the victim, was fatally attacked with a broken bottle near NH-24 after a heated argument with two bike-borne men. He was  rushed to Max Hospital where he was declared 'brought dead'

Following the eyewitness account, multiple police teams were formed, including personnel from PS Kalyan Puri, Anti-Narcotics Squad, Special Staff, and AATS. Through extensive CCTV footage analysis, call detail records (CDRs), and vehicle tracing, the accused were tracked and arrested.

Deputy Commissioner of Police, East, Abhishek Dhania, commended the team, stating, "The dedication and swift coordination between our units ensured the accused were apprehended within hours. Such prompt action highlights our commitment to public safety and justice."

The police have also recovered the motorcycle used in the crime. Further investigation is underway.
