Drug peddler caught with 113 gm smack

The Special Task Force (STF) of Shahdara District has apprehended a drug peddler involved in illicit trafficking of smack. Acting on a tip-off, the STF team laid a trap near GTB Hospital and arrested a man identified as Vikas alias Vikki (30 years), a resident of Khajuri Khas, Delhi. A total of 113 grams of smack was recovered from his possession.
Following Vikas’s confession, the team raided the residence of a woman, Kiran in Seemapuri, where 105 grams of smack was found. A case under the NDPS Act has been registered, and further investigation is underway to trace the supply network.
Speaking on the operation, DCP Shahdara Parshant Priya Gautam said, “This successful crackdown reflects our commitment to curbing drug trafficking. We will continue to take strict action against such illegal activities.”
