Woman killed, son Injured in Hit-and-Run

 A 55-year-old woman lost her life, and her son was injured in a hit-and-run accident near Dharampura yesterday.

According to police, a PCR call was received at Seelampur police station at 12:44 PM regarding the incident. The victims were on a motorcycle, returning from ISBT Kashmere Gate when an unidentified vehicle hit them while crossing a flyover. The driver fled the scene after the incident.

Both were rushed to JPC (Jag Pravesh Chandra) hospital, where the woman was declared brought dead, and her son is undergoing treatment. A case under relevant sections of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS) has been registered, and efforts are underway to trace the vehicle. Investigation is underway.
