Under the aegis of Shri Devotthan Seva Samiti, 400 urns containing the ashes of Hindu and Sikh individuals from Karachi, Pakistan, were immersed in the sacred Ganges in Haridwar, granting them salvation.

Samiti’s National President, Anil Narendra, stated that this marks the third such international immersion, following 135 urns in 2011 and 160 in 2016. Over 24 years, the committee has conducted the immersion of 1,55,689 asthi kalash. National General Secretary Vijay Sharma mentioned that a grand procession was held in Delhi, where devotees paid tribute before the final journey.

The event saw participation from Suman Kumar Gupta (Vaishya Bise Aggarwal Sabha), R.S. Dua (Punjabi Mahasabha), Prem Gulati (Veer Savarkar Market Association), and many others. In Haridwar, Mahant Shri Ramnath Mishra of Karachi’s Panchmukhi Hanuman Temple, along with six family members, led the ritual immersion with 100 kg of milk. Organization Minister Deepak Gupta shared that Mahant Mishra performed a head-shaving ritual as a mark of respect for the departed souls.

Mahant Raj Rajeshwaran and Ji Maharaj of Jhande Walan Mandir bid farewell to the procession with floral tributes. The event was attended by religious leaders, community members, and a large number of devotees.
