Sublime beauty woven with culture and peace: Sudha Murthy 

Monasteries of Bodh Gaya authored by Dr Kaynat Kazi launched

The Madan Mohan Malviya Auditorium, Hansraj College, University of Delhi, registered the great launch of a coffee table book written by Dr Kaynat Kazi. Padam Vibhushan Sudha Murthy, chief guest on the occasion unveiled the book at the auditorium packed with students, faculty members and students.

This literary event was arranged by the college's literary society in partnership with the Bougainvillea Art Foundation. The event had the release of two coffee table books by Dr. Kaynat Kazi: The Monasteries of Bodhgaya: Abode of Cultural Amalgamation of South Asia (English) and Bodhgaya ke Vihaar: Dakshin Ashiyaee Deshon ki Vividh Sanskrti ke Vaahak (Hindi). Prominent literati like author-philanthropist Sudha Murty and Padma Shri award-winning archaeologist KK Mohammed, attended the event. "The book speaks volumes about India's rich culture blended with peace and sublime beauty; this is an unputdownable tome," spoke Sudha Murthy at the event.
Mohammed underscored the significance of cultural documentation in forming identity.


Dr Kaynat Kazi

Dr. Kazi's research documents 41 monasteries in Bodh Gaya, highlighting South Asia's rich heritage and providing free e-book access to foster inclusivity.Dr. Kazi conveyed her dedication and devotion to safeguarding cultural heritage, characterizing the books as symbols of unity and strength. 
"I stayed a good deal of time in Bodh Gaya, spent months on end travelling and exploring many folds in the place of Gautam Budhha. It took me more than one year to complete and compile the voluminous documents. I am deeply fascinated by exotic monasteries and the deep rooted culture and rich heritage." Dr Kazi, a noted author,a solo traveller and an ace photographer gushed. She has authored 11 books on varied segments and subjects.
Students appreciated the  bilingual book available at no cost. 
Dr Kazi heads the Bougainvillea Art Foundation, advancing initiatives in cultural preservation and promotion. Among other distinguished attendees was Dr Rama, Principal of Hansraj College who in her address talked of the book and admired the yarn exquisitely woven which makes the read all the more intriguing and thanked Mrs Murthy profusely for gracing the event with her benign presence.
