Notorious auto-lifter caught with stolen vehicles

The police apprehended a notorious auto-lifter, Suhail alias Chikna 26 years involved in multiple auto thefts and snatching cases. Acting on a tip-off, a team led by Inspector Yogesh Vashistha intercepted Suhail near Yamuna Vihar service road. He was found riding a stolen Hero Splendor Plus motorcycle, reported missing from Dayalpur.
Upon interrogation, Suhail confessed to other thefts, leading to the recovery of three more stolen vehicles, including two motorcycles and one scooter, from Krishna Nagar, Welcome, and Jafrabad.
Suhail, previously involved in eight cases of snatching and theft, has been arrested under relevant sections. Further investigation is underway.
