The district Malerkotla is a city in Punjab that takes its name from the princely state of 'Maler Kotla'. the place is a perfect blend of legacy, harmony and hospitality which can be traced back to the 15th century to Haider Shaikh commonly known as Shaikh Sadr-ud-din, Sadr-i- Jahan, a Sarani Afghan of Daraband in Khurasan.while cruising through the labyrinths of Punjab.
