Killer on the run, caught

A man wanted for a murder case was arrested by the staff of Seelampur and also recovered a country made pistol from his possession.

Identified as Talib 20 years was the prime accused in the case.  However, one accused  juvenile has already been caught.

Talib had been absconding after stabbing one Lallan and deceased Raj Kishore. Acting on a tip-off, a team led by Inspector Pankaj Kumar under the supervision of ACP, Seelampur with HC Navneesh and constables Manish and Sachin was constituted. Accordingly, police laid a trap near the fish farm, and spotted the suspect, he opened fire on the team when encountered and hit a police personnel’s bulletproof jacket. In retaliatory fire, constable Sachin injured the accused’s left leg and recovered a pistol. The police arrested and admitted him to JPC hospital. He was found involved in 3 cases of theft and snatching when the probe progressed.
