Gambling racket busted

A team of Special Staff, Shahdara district nabbed five people involved in gambling, and recovered ₹18,080 cash from them. Acting on a tip-off about a gambling racket near Chander Puri. A team under the supervision of ACP Gurudev Singh, led by Inspector Munish Kumar with ASI Pramod, HCs Anuj, Siddharth and Sunil, constables Shubham and Sunny was constituted.

The team conducted a raid at the said location, and arrested 5 people with stake money of ₹18,080, two diaries from their possession. All the five accused were identified as Jalib 35 years, Ashruf 42 years Sahid 23 years, Rihan 18 years and Mohan 44 years. Upon interrogation, the accused disclosed that the gambling was conducted by Nanhe.
