Baisoya Cricket Club claims title in nail biting finish

On the occasion of the seventh death anniversary of Late Chaudhary Raghubar Singh Ji on 25th December 2025, the final match of the annual cricket tournament was held at Chaudhary Raghubar Singh Cricket Stadium in Kharkhadi, Loni. The match was played between Baisoya Cricket Club Kharkhadi and Behta Regiment Cricket Club. Behta Regiment’s captain won the toss and elected to bat first.

Batting first, Behta Regiment managed to score a huge target of 238/10 in 24.5 overs. Key contributors to the score were Harsha Dhama with 98 runs, Shakeel with 40 runs, Imran Behta with 26 runs, and Shera Dhama with 21 runs. For Baisoya Cricket Club, Anshul got 4 wickets, Jaiveer and Ritik took 2 wickets each, while Naresh Gurjar got 1 wicket.

Chasing a massive target of 239 runs, the batsmen of Baisoya Cricket Club Kharkhadi started aggressively and won the match on the last ball of the match, winning by 5 wickets. Key performers for the winning squad  were Naresh Gurjar with 66 runs, Gaurav Pandit with 45 runs, Ritik remained unbeaten with 41 runs, and Mohit Baisoya made 22 runs (not out).

In the last two deciding overs, 35 runs were needed. In the 24th over, Ritik hit three boundaries and six to score 18 runs. In the final over, with 13 runs required for the last three balls, Mohit Baisoya hit two consecutive sixes, bringing the match to an exciting climax, and confirmed the victory with a single on the last ball, leading Baisoya Cricket Club Kharkhadi to a close win.

At the event,Bhatta owner Mahesh Kumar Baisoya was thanked for presenting the token of honour. The villagers hoisted Baisoya Cricket Club’s star player Mohit Baisoya onto their shoulders, acknowledging his outstanding performance.
