Fair opened for all yesterday

The 6th of IITF began with General Public Day, organised by the Indian Trade Promotion Organisation ( ITPO ) under the theme of “ Vikshit Bharat. A large crowd was present on the day. The fair was giving a perfect blend of trade opportunities and cultural heritage.
Today’s spotlight was on Madhya Pradesh, as it was its State Day. On this occasion, Dr. Mohan Yadav, Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh visited IITF and Madhya Pradesh Pavilion, sharing plans on sustainable development and cultural diversity in his state.
Manipur celebrated its State Day with presence of its officers at Manipur Pavilion in Hall 4 today, Arun Kumar Sinha, IAS (Principal Secretary, Government of Manipur), Devash Deval, IAS, and Yumnam Robita, IAS (Director, Trade and Commerce, Government of Manipur), highlighted state’s unique craft and its rich traditions.
The Ministry of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare added importance at IITF through Maninder Kaur Dwivedi, Additional Secretary through emphasising agriculture for sustainable development and Indian economy.
Visitors enjoyed diverse cuisines at food courts in hall 2-5. Engaging activities at CBIC were held for children, while rickshaw service was provided for disabled persons and senior citizens. Luxury golf cart rides added lustre to the fair.
In Hall 14, MSMEs and local communities showcased unique products, including artisanal crafts and beauty cosmetics, reflecting IITF's supporting promise to entrepreneurs and promoting indigenous industries. Entries were facilitated at Bhairav Road ( Gate 1,3,4 ) and Mathura Road(6,10).
