Sunrisers defeat Dhruv Cricket Club by 71 Runs

Rajpura Loni, March 2, 2025: A spectacular century by Ajay (135 off 41), with Tinku Tomar’s 85 and Amit Mavi’s unbeaten 67, powered Sunrise Cricket Club to a commanding 71-run victory over Dhruv Cricket Club at Sai Cricket Ground.

Winning the toss, Dhruv Cricket Club opted to bowl first. Sunrise Cricket Club capitalized on the opportunity, posting a massive 353/4 in 25 overs. Despite losing opener Anuj Chauhan early, solid contributions from Ravi Dutt (34), Tinku Tomar, and a blistering knock by Ajay helped them reach an imposing total. Amit Mavi’s unbeaten 67 in the final overs further strengthened the total. Sachin took two wickets while Sunil Kashyap and captain Ghanshyam claimed one each.

Chasing 354, Dhruv Cricket Club started well, with Sunil Kashyap (17) and Amit (73 off 38) making valuable contributions. However, despite a brilliant unbeaten 96 by Shakti and 43 by Harish Kashyap, they fell short, finishing at 282/4 in 25 overs. Manoj Singh Jodan took two wickets for Sunrise, while Raj Sharma and Sanjay Tomar grabbed one each.

For their outstanding performances, Ajay, Tinku Tomar, and Amit Mavi were jointly awarded the Man of the Match.
