Tomar's century, Anuj's 4 wickets' haul fashion a big win routing Power Star XI

A quick ton from Tinku Tomar (107 runs) and a devastating bowling spell by Anuj Tomar (4 wickets) led Sunrise Cricket Club to a resounding 113-run victory over Power Star Eleven Cricket Club at Sai Cricket Ground, Rajpura Loni.

The match began with Sunrise Cricket Club winning the toss and opting to bat first. They posted a formidable total of 308/3 in 25 overs. Key contributions came from Tinku Tomar, who smashed 107 runs off 64 balls (11 fours, 5 sixes) before retiring hurt in the 22nd over. Other notable performances included Anuj Chauhan (34 off 12 balls, 4 fours, 2 sixes), Mohan Sibal (39 off 22 balls, 8 fours), Ravi Dutt (29 off 25 balls, 3 fours), and Ajay (48 off 19 balls, 2 fours, 5 sixes)*. Anuj Tomar also chipped in with 15 runs off 9 balls.

Power Star bowlers Naveen, Jeetu, and Vishal managed to take one wicket each.

Chasing a daunting target of 309 runs, Power Star Eleven Cricket Club faltered early, losing wickets at regular intervals. Ramendra Tomar (1), Captain Sunny Dheer (7), and Dhannendra Arora (25) were dismissed within the first nine overs, leaving the team struggling at 61/3. Abhishek Dedha (27) and Gaurav Thakur (40) tried to stabilize the innings, but wickets kept falling one after another.

The only significant resistance came from Jeetu, who played a fighting knock of 79 runs off 51 balls (14 fours). However, the team could only manage 195/7 in 24.1 overs, falling short by 113 runs.

For Sunrise Cricket Club, Anuj Tomar was the standout bowler with 4 wickets, while Somdev Tyagi and Manoj Kumar Jordan took 2 and 1 wicket, respectively.

With an outstanding performance with bat, Tinku Tomar (107 runs) and Anuj Tomar (4 wickets for 15 runs) were jointly awarded the Man of the Match.
