IAS Bhagyashree administers voting oath during cultural event

Shahdara District Election Officer, IAS Rishita Gupta, organized a cultural event to promote voter awareness, during which Observer IAS Bhagyashree administered the voting oath to the attendees. The event witnessed an enthusiastic gathering of voters, encouraged by the performances of renowned singers Deepak Rana and Aditya Mahajan, who uplifted the crowd with their patriotic songs.

During his performance, singer Deepak Rana emphasized the importance of voting, stating, "Your vote shapes your future. Do not miss this opportunity!" He urged everyone present to not only cast their votes but also encourage their friends and family to participate in the electoral process.

SDM (Elections) Vivek Mittal was also present at the event. He called upon the citizens to not only exercise their right to vote but also to motivate their neighbours to do the same.

Ms Bhagyashree led the audience in taking a pledge to actively participate in the voting process. She emphasized, "It is our responsibility to contribute to this crucial moment in democracy."

Adding to the event's vibrancy, a Bhangra dance performance further energized the crowd, creatively spreading awareness about the importance of voting. The event saw active participation from local residents, who reaffirmed their commitment to casting their votes in the upcoming elections.
