Two arrested involved in brawl

In the wee hours of January 2,2025, a PCR call was received about a scuffle between two groups near Nirman Vihar Metro Station. The police team immediately rushed to the spot and obtained the CCTV footage of the adjoining shops and initiated preliminary investigation. In this case, one Bharat Sharma emerged who came to the police station and stated that he and his friends Pankaj Sharma and Jasmeet Singh (all party organizers at Nyt Life Café) came out of the Café around 5 in the morning and picked on Talib and Bilal who misbehaved with them using filthy words and hurled abuses. Both Talib and Bilal were earlier employed at Nyt Life Café due to which they harboured a grudge and nursed jealousy against him. Bilal and Talib started using abusive language with him when he objected to it they caught hold of him and his friends and roughed them up. He further stated that Talib also whipped out a pistol and brandished in the air. The complainant and his friends were thrashed by Bilal, Talib and others. As per the footage analysis and statement of the complainant Bharat Sharma, a case under relevant sections of BNS and 27 Arms Act was registered and accused Bilal and Talib have been arrested and further investigation is in progress under the supervision of Nithya Radhakrishnan,ACP subdivision, Preet Vihar.
