Thief held with 28 stolen mobile phones

STF has caught a man and recovered from him 28 burgled mobile phones.

After the complainant was filed, Prashant Gautam Deputy Commissioner of Police, Shahdara district formed a team led by SI Ajay Tomar with SI Jeetpal Singh, ASI Abhimanyu Rathi, ASI Sunil Kumar, HC Nitin, HC Sachin, HC Ravi and HC Anuj and under the supervision of Gurudev Singh, ACP/Operation. The team received information that a boy came to CNG pump, Seemapuri with stolen phones to sell. A trap was laid near the CNG pump and the boy was apprehended with a bag containing phones. The accused was identified as Tahidul Shekh. He disclosed that he had stolen these phones with his friend Shabir whom he met at a wine shop. He has already been arrested for snatching.
