Auditorium echoed with laughter during 'Ulte Bans' performance

The renowned actress of television, Mala Kumar, through her organization Nepathya Foundation staged the famous comedy play Ulte Bans by celebrated writer and director Sai Paranjpye. The event was attended by an MP and renowned actor Shatrughan Sinha. After watching the play, Shatrughan Sinha praised the performances of the artists and the stage design.
The play was performed at Shri Ram Centre Auditorium, Mandi House directed by Pradeep Kukreja and Rashmi Vaidya Lingam. Brilliant performances of the artists made the play fascinating, the entire auditorium echoed with laughter.
The story revolved around the lives of three married couples who are neighbours. Their struggles and hopes were beautifully showcased through the performances. Mala Kumar played the role of Krishna, Pradeep Kukreja portrayed Tatya, Keemti Anand played Makarand, Rashmi Vaidya Lingam played Nirmal, Sanjeev Saluja played Jagan, and Sunita Narayan performed as Sharvari.
