Husband kills wife, caught

A sensational murder case was solved by the Gokalpuri police with the arrest of the deceased’s husband, Harsh Goel (34 years), who confessed to the crime.
A PCR call alerted the police about an attack on a woman near Johripur Pulia, Nala Road. The injured victim, a 27-year-old woman, was rushed to JPC Hospital, where she succumbed to multiple stab wounds. A murder case under Section 103(1) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS) was registered.
A police team, led by SHO Gokalpuri Inspector Parveen Kumar and supervised by ACP Gokalpuri, swiftly initiated the investigation. CCTV footage analysis and local intelligence led to the identification and arrest of Harsh Goel from Khajuri Khas. During interrogation, he confessed to killing his wife over a matrimonial dispute. The murder weapon, a knife, and the victim’s missing mobile phone were recovered. Police also found that Goel was previously involved in two NDPS Act cases in Tamil Nadu.
DCP North-East Delhi said, “Swift action by our team ensured that the accused was arrested within hours. We are committed to ensuring justice in such heinous crimes.”
Further investigation is underway.
