CGST Ghaziabad recovers ₹6.80 Cr in search operation at Mahagun India Pvt. Ltd.

A search operation was conducted on February 6-7, 2025, at the premises of M/s Mahagun India Pvt. Ltd. in Noida and Ghaziabad by officers of the Central GST Commissionerate, Ghaziabad. During the search, various records and documents were examined, leading to the on-spot deposit of ₹6.80 crore by the company towards its GST liabilities.

Commissioner Sanjay Lawania stated that investigations are ongoing to assess further tax liabilities. The operation was led by Additional Commissioners  Alok Singh and Arun Kumar Diwedi and Sanjiv Rishi Assistant Commissioner of the Anti-Evasion Wing, with expectations of significant recoveries.
