A Jan Sunwayi camp for grievance redressal was conducted by the east Delhi police chief Abhishek Dhania with intent to address and resolve the issues of the citizens in the district.

The four-hour long interaction from 11 00 am to 3 pm was pitched across the four sub-divisions encompassing Madhu Vihar, Preet Vihar, Mayur Vihar, and Kalyanpuri. The event was organized under the supervision of the concerned Assistant Commissioner of Police (ACsP) and Station House Officers (SHOs).

During the open interactive session, citizens were encouraged to voice their concerns and share their grievances. ACsP and SHOs gave a patient hearing to the aggrieved people and assured them of prompt assistance. The initiative aimed to strengthen community-police relations and enhance public safety by addressing citizens' concerns directly.

Local residents expressed appreciation for the opportunity to communicate their problems and noted the importance of such forums in fostering trust between the police and the community. The event marked a significant step towards ensuring a responsive and accountable policing framework in the East District.
